STRELNA, September 5 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered his G20 colleagues to discuss the situation around Syria during a working dinner later on Thursday.

“Some of the participants asked for a possibility to discuss issues that are outside the [G20 summit] agenda, such as problems of international politics, including the situation in Syria,” Putin said, opening the Group of Twenty summit. “I suggest we do it during the dinner not to lump things together. Now, I suggest we discuss the problems that are essential for the G20 countries.”
