MOSCOW, September 4 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin promised on Wednesday to give thought to declaring an amnesty to mark the 20th anniversary of the Russian Constitution. “We will think about an amnesty,” the president said at a meeting of the Presidential Council of Civil Society and Human Rights. “As far as I understand, all support an amnesty, but this is a normal reaction of people, who met here,” the president said.
