Russian and South African foreign ministers call for quicker UN reform

The reform of the UN Security Council seeks to ensure fair representation of Asia, Africa and Latin America

MOSCOW, September 2 (Itar-Tass) - Foreign Ministers of Russia and the Republic of South Africa Sergei Lavrov and Maite Nkoana-Mashabane called for a quicker U.N. reform after their negotiations in Moscow on Monday.

Lavrov thanked his South African counterpart for the support in the reform of the U.N. Security Council, seeking “to ensure fair representation of the regions of Asia, Africa and Latin America.”
