MOSCOW, August 31 (Itar-Tass) - About 12 billion rubles may be provided additionally in aid for the population in the flood-stricken Far Eastern regions, the Russian Emergencies Ministry's spokesperson Irina Rossius told Itar-Tass.
The proposals are prepared to allocate a total of about 12 billion rubles additionally from the reserve fund, she said.
The funds will be used to help the affected population, pay compensation for the temporary accommodation expenditures and for urgent repair and reconstruction.
