Russia’s Communist Party invited foreign observers to the September 8 election

The party is ready to deploy 4,000 people to supervise elections

MOSCOW, August 30. (Itar-Tass) – Observers of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation during the September 8 election day will include a foreign team, said party leader Gennady Zyuganov at a press conference on Friday.

“We will tightened control everywhere we can; we invite our allies and opponents, invite foreign observers; the union of communist parties will have a large team participating in this supervision,” he said.

In turn, Moscow mayoral candidate from this party Ivan Melnikov has announced that communists have prepared over 4,000 people to supervise polling stations on the election day. In his words, even now “all current violations are recorded and documents are submitted to the election commission.”
