VLADIMIR, Central Russia, August 28 (Itar-Tass) - Valentina Matviyenko, speaker of the Federation Council upper house of Russian parliament, on Wednesday voiced objections to juvenile justice and said she would do all to prevent its establishment in Russia.
“I am absolutely against juvenile justice in Russia and I will do everything to prevent this, if anybody tries to instill it [juvenile justice],” she told reporters on Wednesday during her visit to the Vladimir region.
“Juvenile justice is contrary to family interests,” she said.
