129 civil planes worth $7 bln sold on 1st day of MAKS airshow

These refer to 77 regional planes SSJ-100 and 52 advanced trunk-route MS-21-300

ZHUKOVSKY, August 28 (Itar-Tass) - On the first day of the MAKS aerospace show, Russian civil aircraft builders have concluded memorandums and contracts for 129 planes with an aggregate cost of about $7 billion at catalog prices.

These refer to 77 regional planes SSJ-100 and 52 advanced trunk-route MS-21-300. The catalog cost of the MS-21 is about $83 million. The price of SSJ-100 is $35.4 million for Basic option and $36.2 million for LR one -- with an extended range of flight.

Specifically, the YUTair Company has concluded an agreement with the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCA) and the VEB-Leasing Company for the delivery of six SSJ-100 planes of LR option in 2014. The catalog value of the contract is $217.2 million. The planes will be purchased by the leasingcompany for their subsequent transfer to the YUTair on financial leasing terms.The agreement is the first stage in implementing the terms of leasing agreements signed by the sides earlier. In all, the company isto buy 24 such planes.

The Ilyushin Finance leasing company stipulated the delivery of 20 SSJ-100 planes in the form of af irm order. Two contracts have been signed -- for five aircraft SSJ-100 of LR option with103 seats. An increased passenger seating capacity will be resultant of installing slim seats in the cabin. First deliveries are expected at the end of 2015. User unfer the contract has not yrt been determined. The other contract has been concluded for the supply of 15 planes SSJ-100 of Basic option for customers in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. First deliveries are also expected in 2015.

Rosoboronexport and the SCA have signed an agreement for the delivery of an SSJ-100 plane of VIP option. The cabin of the SSJ-100 VIP is designed for 19 passengers, and is divided into three functional zones: service, business, and a separate work office. The plane's price has not been specified.

The SCA and Sberbank Leasing have signed a Memorandum of Intention to establish a joint venture for the marketing of SSJ-100 planes. According to plans, up to 50 planes with an aggregate cost of about $1.8 billion at catalog prices may be provided for operational leasing for customers in Russia and other countries at the initial stage.

The VEB Leasing has concluded a firm contract with the Irkut Corporation for the delivery of 30 planes MS-21-300. The value of the contact is $2.5 billion. The planes will be handed over to the customer in a period from 2018 to 2022.

At the same time, the leasing company and Transaero have signed a Memorandum of Intention to transfer for leasing six MS-21 planes. According to VEB-Leasing data, the planes will be delivered to the customer in a period from 2020 to 2021. A similar Memorandum for ten MS-21-300 has been signed by VEB Leasing with the YUTair company.

And finally, the Irkut Corp has signed a contract for 22 aircraft with the Ilyushin Finance for the delivery of 22 MS-21 planes beginning from 2019.
