ULYANOVSK, August 26 (Itar-Tass) - Unidentified offenders were shooting at several children from non-lethal guns in Ulyanovsk Region, the regional prosecutor’s office told Itar-Tass on Monday.
The incident occurred late in the evening on August 25. Four children were playing in the courtyard at 41, Novokombinatovskaya Street in the settlement of Isheyevka and were injured by the shots from non-lethal guns.
The children were taken to the central district hospital. Two boys and two girls aged from seven to 15 years were injured.
The Ulyanovsk regional prosecutor’s office is investigating the incident.
“The detectives are investigating all the details of the attack and are searching for an offender, who committed the crime. The Ulyanovsk regional prosecutor’s office put the criminal case under special control,” senior aide to the regional prosecutor Vasily Zima told Itar-Tass.
