MOSCOW, August 22 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian Defense Ministry has not initiated to include units of the Ministry for Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) into the structure of the Defense Ministry, the Defense Ministry's press service said on Thursday.

"The Defense Ministry was surprised to see reports released by a number of media outlets about its alleged initiative to include EMERCOM structures into the Defense Ministry," the press service said.
