MOSCOW, August 21 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov met Acting Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security Rose Gottemoeller in London on August 20 to discuss strategic stability, including missile defence and the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Wednesday.
The meeting was held within the Russian-U.S. Presidential Commission, the report says.
“Ryabkov and Gottemoeller discussed issues to build up cooperation on key international platforms. Special attention was paid to prospects for continuing the bilateral dialogue on strategic stability,” the report says.
