The mastermind promised to pay 400 million rubles to the perpetrators

MOSCOW, August 21 (Itar-Tass) - Moscow criminal police /MCP/ said they have prevented the abduction and murder of the president of a city bank, for which the mastermind promised to pay 400 million rubles to the perpetrators.

"The bank's president had 800 million rubles in Russian and foreign currency at his disposal, and the mastermind promised to pay half of the sum to the hitmen after coming in possession of the property," the MCP press service said. It withheld the name of the banker.
