According to preliminary data, over-speeding caused the accident

MOSCOW, August 19 (Itar-Tass) - Three officers of the Moscow investigation committee have been killed in a road accident in the southwest of the Russian capital. The accident occurred in Prospekt Vernadskogo Street on Sunday night, Moscow police told Itar-Tass.

According to earlier reports, a BMW car hit a curb stone at about 23:00 MSK at the intersection of Prospekt Vernadskogo and Universitetsky Prospekt, after which rolled over several times. Four people were killed in the car.

“Three officers of the investigation department of Moscow’s Southern Administrative District are among the crash victims. The fourth killed is an unemployed person,” the source said.

According to preliminary data, over-speeding caused the accident.
