MAKHACHKALA, August 18 (Itar-Tass) - Three militants were killed on Sunday morning in a special operation in Khasavyurt, Dagestan, spokesman for the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC) Andrei Przhezdomsky told Itar-Tass.
“Three militants have been neutralised, various services continue their work at the special operation site,” he said.
According to earlier reports, law enforcement officers found and blocked a house with militants in the Yubileiny settlement in Khasavyurt. They engaged in a firefight with the security forces. There were no immediate reports about losses among law enforcement officers.
