MOSCOW, August 11 (Itar-Tass) - One person died and six got injured in a traffic accident in Kalmykia, Russia’s EMERCOM told Itar-Tass on Sunday.
The accident occurred at 10:26 Moscow time in the republic’s Sarpin region.
“At the 157th kilometre of the Elista-Volgograd highway, a passenger bus collided with a truck,” the source said.
Kalmykia is situated south of the Volga on the north-western shores of the Caspian Sea. It shares its south-eastern border with Dagestan.
