MOSCOW, August 11 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s President Vladimir Putin greeted workers and veterans of the construction sector on their professional holiday - Day of Constructor.
“The history of our construction sector includes names of outstanding architects, engineers and scientists, high-class specialists, who are devoted to their work. They develop distanced regions of the Extreme North, Siberia and the Far East, offer unique projects and have record achievements, which are recognised in the world,” the president said.
Putin stressed the constructors keep “the traditions based by their predecessors” and realise that on results of their work “depends directly quality of life in cities, effectiveness of industrial and agricultural infrastructures, and wellbeing of the people.”
“I am sure, your knowledge and experience will favour modernisation of the sector, its technical development, wide implementation of advanced technologies, which meet modern requirements of ecology and safety,” the president said.
