MOSCOW, August 11 (Itar-Tass) - In Russia’s Chelyabinsk region the high water from the pouring rains still remains in nine settlements, EMERCOM reports.

In the water remain 437 houses, where 3,107 people live, 1,340 gardens and three bridges, the source said on Sunday.

Rescuers have “evacuated 1,364 people, where 119 are staying at temporary facilities.”

“The level of water has been declining in all the settlements,” the ministry said.

The rescue operation involves 1,540 people and 212 vehicles, including EMERCOM’s 727 people and 155 vehicles.
