MOSCOW, August 11 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev congratulates workers and veterans of the construction sector with their professional holiday - Day of Constructors, the government’s press service said on Sunday.

“Due to constructors, designers, engineers, new housing complexes, schools, hospitals, kindergartens and sports facilities appear in Russia’s all regions,” the greeting telegram reads. “Infrastructures of cities and villages are developing - everything, which is necessary for millions of people to have comfortable life, work and leisure.”

“Today, the sector is facing ambitious tasks to raise the productiveness, use modern ecology-friendly materials and energy technologies,” Medvedev said. “Special attention should be paid to training of specialists, and of course, the most important should be high quality and safety of the objects.”

In conclusion, the prime minister expressed confidence “the experience and professional skills and responsibility will let Russian constructors solve most complicated tasks.”
