WASHINGTON, August 11 (Itar-Tass) - The White House has described this week’s “two-plus-two” talks between Russian and U.S. top officials as constructive.
This was a constructive meeting focusing on further cooperation in such important issues as security and economy, White House spokesman Jay Carney told journalists on Saturday.
On Friday Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu met in Washington with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Secretary of Defence Chuck Hagel.
