WASHINGTON, August 11 (Itar-Tass) - U.S. President Barack Obama had not called his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin over the past 24 hours, White House spokesman Jay Carney said on Saturday.
When asked whether the two leaders had had a telephone conversation, Carney said he had no information about Obama’s calls to foreign leaders. President Obama had not talked with President Putin after his news conference, he said.
