Second suspect in murder in massive brawl between migrants, people from Siberia identified

YEKATERINBURG, August 8 (Itar-Tass) - The Sysert inter-district investigation department of the Russian Investigation Committee of the Sverdlovsk region identified a suspect, who was involved in the murder of a builder from the Krasnoyarsk territory. The incident happened during a massive brawl, which broke out on the eve of August 6 in the city of Aramil. Thus, two main suspects, who are the natives of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, appeared in the criminal case, which was opened for murder. They are put on the federal wanted list.

“Currently three other brawlers are identified and detained, as the detectives believe them to be involved in the stealing of two mobile phones at a total cost of 47,000 roubles to the builders. In particular, two detainees were identified by an injured party,” the press service of the regional investigation department of the Russian Investigation Committee told Itar-Tass on Thursday. “They were put in custody and they will face an accusation soon,” the press service said.

Eight people from Siberia and 12-14 natives from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan were participating in a massive brawl. The conflict, which grew quickly in a brawl, broke out at a cafe in the city.

During the fight the injured party sustained a knife wound in the breast and died of it at the clash site. Immediately after the brawl the migrants escaped in three cars from the crime scene.

The migrants lived illegally in Aramil, chief of the Sverdlovsk police Mikhail Borodin told Itar-Tass on Thursday. “We will conduct an inquiry in the local police. The work of the police will be given a tough assessment,” he said.
