MOSCOW, August 7 (Itar-Tass) - The number of illegal migrants housed in a tent encampment in Moscow ahead of their deportation from Russia has grown to 586, the press service of the Moscow police told Tass on Wednesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, the number of foreign nationals staying at a temporary tent encampment under the court decision has grown to 586 people,” the press service said.
Police said the operation to deport illegal migrants is carried out by the Federal Migrant Service.
Earlier reports said there were 388 people in the tent encampment.
