Lost Robinson helicopter found in Irkutsk region, both passengers dead

The Robinson helicopter (board number РА 06302) with two persons onboard disappeared in the Irkutsk region, when it was on its way from Kirensk to Davydovo

MOSCOW, August 7 (Itar-Tass) - The Robinson helicopter that went missing in Russia’s Siberian Irkutsk region on Tuesday has been found. Its two passengers are dead, the Irkutsk region police department tweeted on Wenesday.

“The lost helicopter with two dead men was found in the Kirensky district,” the tweet says.

The Robinson helicopter (board number РА 06302) with two persons onboard disappeared in the Irkutsk region, when it was on its way from Kirensk to Davydovo. Air traffic controllers reported that they had lost radio contact with the helicopter at 20:00 Moscow time.

The helicopter belonged to the VSP Leasing Company.
