MOSCOW, August 6 (Itar-Tass) - One person died and 14 people were injured in a major road accident involving a passenger bus in Stavropol Territory. This was reported by Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations on Tuesday.
“According to updated reports, 14 people were injured in the road accident and rushed to hospital. One person died in the road accident,” the ministry reported.
The tourist bus capsized on the Kropotkin-Novoalexadrovsk highway overnight to Tuesday.
The traffic was disrupted.
The passenger express bus Neoplan Higer of the company Stavropoltranstur on the way from Adler to Stavropol overturned at about 03:50 Moscow time on Tuesday at the fifth kilometer of Novoalexadrovsk-Kropotkin highway near Yuzhny settlement. Injured people were taken to the hospital in Novoalexadrovsk. The bus was carrying 44 people.
