MOSCOW, July 30 (Itar-Tass) - A Congolese citizen attacked a policeman when being detained in Sheremetyevo airport.
A Congolese citizen, aged 31, caused bodily harm to a policeman of a patrol post on duty when being detained in Sheremetyevo airport, the press service of the Russian Interior Ministry’s Department for Transport of the Central Federal District, told ltar-Tass on Tuesday.
Police says the foreign citizen was detained for being disorderly. He rushed about the chapel of the Church of the Resurrection on the territory of Sheremetyevo airport and was rude to people in the church who remonstrated against his behavior. They called transport police, the press service said.
He fiercely resisted arrest, scratching the face and tearing the shirt of one of the police.
