Chinese forces redeployed to Chelyabinsk region for anti-terrorism exercises

YEKATERINBURG, July 29 (Itar-Tass) - Motorized and tank formations of the Shenyang Military District of People’s Liberation Army of China are being redeployed by railway to the Chebarkul firing range in the Chelyabinsk region, where Russian-Chinese anti-terrorism command staff exercises Peace Mission-2013 will be held, the press service of the Russian Central Military District told Itar-Tass on Monday.

“About 500 servicemen of the People’s Liberation Army of China and over 100 units of military hardware in three trains were going to the railway station Irkutsk on Monday. The arrival of trains in the area of military exercises is expected on August 1-2,” the press service said. “On the way of the trains the officers of our district are convoying them, water and food supplies are being made,” the press service reported.
