MOSCOW, July 25 (Itar-Tass) - Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia has wished Russia to become stronger in the years to come.

“I want to wish God’s help to our Motherland to become stronger in the years to come, to strengthen our economy, to ensure stability and peace in our society and to build up the spirit of our people,” Patriarch Kirill said at a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and the hierarchs of Local Orthodox Churches on Thursday.

“The weak spirit can weaken even a strong person.” “The history proves that men of spirit can withstand all tests,” Patriarch Kirill stressed.

“We pray for our Motherland,” he added.
