Russia-NATO Council defence ministers to focus on military security

“When the defence ministers of key countries gather together and discuss burning problems and modern challenges the nations feel calmer,” Russian Deputy Defence Minister said

MOSCOW, July 25 (Itar-Tass) - Military security should be discussed at a session of the Russia-NATO Council defence ministers, Russian Deputy Defence Minister Anatoly Antonov said.

“Today ‘a security equation’ differs from the 20-year-long views. As previously this decision could create conditions for long-term trust and security in the Euro-Atlantic region,” Antonov said.

“We believe that military security could be subject to discussions at the ministerial session,” the Russian minister added.

“When the defence ministers of key countries gather together and discuss burning problems and modern challenges the nations feel calmer,” Antonov said.
