An extraordinary session is due on July 25

MAKHACHKALA, July 23 (Itar-Tass) - The Dagestan parliament will convene for an extraordinary session on July 25 to approve the new chairman of the republic's government, a parliament source told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

"An extraordinary session is due on July 25. There is only one question on the agenda: discussion and approval of the candidate for new premier," the source said without naming the candidate.

On Monday, acting Dagestan President Ramazan Abdulatipov fired the government, appointing Anatoly Karibov acting prime minister.
