NOVO OGAREVO, July 22 (Itar-Tass) - President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting on energy problems in Eastern Siberia and the Far East.
“We will have to meet separately some time to discuss all energy issues relating to Eastern Siberia and the Far East,” Putin said at a meeting with RusHydro Management Board Chairman Yevgeny Dod on Monday, July 22.
“You surely know [the situation] better than anyone else. After all, these two regions are experiencing energy shortages and we need to understand what resources we should use to solve these problems in the Far East and Eastern Siberia and how fast,” the president said.
“I think we will get together in about a month’s time and discuss these things,” he added.
