Ten passengers of Mi-8 remain hospitalized after hard landing in Tomsk region

The helicopter Mi-8 carrying 14 passengers and three pilots has made a hard landing at 09:50 Moscow time on Sunday

MOSCOW, July 15 (Itar-Tass) - Ten passengers from a helicopter Mi-8, which has made a hard landing in the Tomsk Region, remain at the hospital.

“Ten passengers, who were injured in a hard landing of a helicopter Mi-8, remain at the hospital, five people are undergoing an outpatient treatment,” the Tomsk regional emergency situation department told Itar-Tass on Monday.

“The condition of the patients discharged from the hospital does not cause concerns of the medics. Ten people remain at the hospital, four of them are in heavy condition (one person is at the intensive therapy ward, three people are in the surgery ward). Other six people in moderately heavy condition are in the surgery ward,” the regional emergency situation department said.

The helicopter Mi-8 has made a hard landing at 09:50 Moscow time on Sunday. The helicopter was carrying 14 passengers and three pilots. Fifteen people were injured, including a crewman, in the air incident.
