45 people injured in traffic accident in New Moscow - Emergencies Ministry

MOSCOW, July 13 (Itar-Tass) - A total of 45 people have been injured in a traffic accident in New Moscow when a Kamaz truck collided with a passenger bus, spokesperson to the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry Irina Rossius told Itar-Tass.

“According to the latest data, as a result of the tragedy 18 people died and 45 people received traumas and injuries,” she said.

Rossius added that a total of 29 people had been hospitalized and 16 people had been provided out-patient aid.

At present, seven people are at the Sklifosovsky Clinic, 11 people at the Podolsk hospital, two people at the City Clinical Hospital № 12, one child has been hospitalized at the Roshal Clinic, three people undergo treatment at the City Clinical Hospital № 7, two people are now at the 64th hospital and two people stay at the Pirogov First City Hospital.

A Kamaz truck driver, who is supposed to be guilty of the collision, is at the Botkin Clinic.
