NAZRAN, July 13 (Itar-Tass) - A criminal case is opened in Ingushetia over the overnight events in the village of Nesterovskaya on charges of attacking law-enforcement officers and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, a source at the Investigative Committee's department in the republic told Itar-Tass.
Fire was opened from a private house at law-enforcement officers overnight during their operation to find and detain gunmen. In the exchange of fire, a member of a special unit was wounded. Two gunmen who were in the house were killed by the return fire.
