KAZAN, July 13 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with officials of the International University Sports Federation /FISU/ organisation of Unviersiade-2013, development of students’ sports and Russia’s further cooperation with FISU, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told Itar-Tass.
“During the visit to Kazan, Vladimir Putin had a meeting with representatives of FISU,” Peskov said. The meeting participants discussed organisation of the Universiade.
“The international representatives evaluated highly the preparations and the sports achievements, which the athletes have been demonstrating during the current competitions,” Peskov added.
The participants in the meeting discussed also development of students’ sports and various aspects of Russia’s further cooperation with FISU.
