PROKHOROVKA, the Belgorod region, July 12 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting of the Pobeda (Victory) organizing committee on Friday that society needed to adopt new approaches to patriotic upbringing that would appeal to contemporary youth.
"I suggest launching a search for new heroes of the Great Patriotic War who are still unknown to broad public,” the Russian head of state said. He added that military archives had thousands of documents and other evidence of their heroic feats.
