MOSCOW, July 11 (Itar-Tass) - As many as 25 people were evacuated from a burning building in eastern Moscow, no injured people were reported, the press service of the main Moscow department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) told Itar-Tass on Thursday.
The report about the fire, which broke out at 19A, the second street of Izmailovsky Zverinets, came at 16:40 Moscow time on Thursday. “25 people left the burning building before the arrival of firemen,” the press service reported. The fire area makes about 1,000 square metres, the press service confirmed. “The fire was ranked second from the 5-point fire scale at 17:11 Moscow time,” the press service said.
The main EMERCOM department did not elaborate what the burning building housed. However, according to the law enforcement agencies, a printing house and a car maintenance service are located there.
The fire brigades are working at the fire site.
