MOSCOW, July 10 (Itar-Tass) - The deputy chairman of the Moscow Region's Football Federation is detained for match fixing, the regional police website says.

As a result of an operation, officers of the Moscow regional and Mytishchi district police departments for economic security and counteraction against corruption documented the fact of the deputy federation chairman's receiving 110,000 roubles as an illegal reward, police said.

The official took the money for match fixing and appointment of referees.
