PYONGYANG, July 10 (Itar-Tass) - North Korea and the Republic of Korea have held talks on the conditions for resuming the Kaesong Industrial Complex, which has been shut down over the recent three months.

At the previous talks the parties agreed to take measures to resume the activity of the Kaesong Complex. An agreement was also reached to allow the trips by South Korean businessmen in order to inspect production machinery of the Kaesong Complex.

In early April the North Korean authorities said the Complex’s activity “will be stopped temporarily” due to the fact that South Korea “intends to turn the area into a trouble spot between compatriots of the North and the South”.
