Over 44 mln roubles stolen from bank in Moscow

The police suspects one of the bank employees

MOSCOW, July 10 (Itar-Tass) - An unknown person has stolen 40 million roubles, 78,000 euros and 40,000 dlrs from a bank in southwestern Moscow, the Moscow police press service told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.

The theft was committed overnight at a commercial bank located at Lomonosov Avenue. The thief turned off the alarm system and got into the bank, where he opened the safe and stole the money.

One of the bank employees is suspected of the theft. He is being sought at present. An operative group is working at the site.
