SOFIA, July 9 (Itar-Tass) - Bulgaria’s Metropolitan of Varna and Veliki Preslav, Kiril, was found dead on a Black Sea beach near Varna. Police is considering the version of violent death, Bulgarian national radio reported on Tuesday. Forensic experts have identified the body.

Kiril was born on June 8, 1954. He was exalted in 1989. He has been interim patriarch since November 10, 2012, following the death of Bulgaria's Patriarch Maxim.
