KRASNOYARSK, July 8 (Itar-Tass) - The explosion of the gas-air mixture at the Krasnoyarsk hydropower plant killed two people and injured another three people. One of them was hospitalized, the united dispatcher’s service told Itar-Tass. The united dispatcher’s service refused to provide other information under the pretext of its secrecy.
The press service of the En+Group Company, in which the hydropower plant is incorporated, confirmed the secrecy of the information. Meanwhile, the press service noted that “the committee, which will make public the information about the incident, was formed” over the incident.
“The Krasnoyarsk hydropower plant operates in the routine mode,” the press service of the company said.
The explosion of the gas-air mixture broke out at about 17:00 local time (13:00 Moscow time) on Monday at the Krasnoyarsk hydropower plant during the repairing works. Two people were killed in the blast. The team of detectives from the Krasnoyarsk Territory rushed to the incident site.
