250 illegal migrants from Vietnam detained in Moscow

In one of industrial hangars Russian Federal Migration Service officers found a Kalashnikov, extremist video and literature supposedly in Arabic

MOSCOW, July 8 (Itar-Tass) - Moscow’s police and officers of the Russian Federal Migration Service detained 250 Vietnamese citizens, who stayed in Russia illegally, a FMS source told Itar-Tass on Monday.

During a raid on Sunday the Federal Migration Service together with Moscow’s police and special task force units detained 250 citizens of Vietnam at an industrial base in Moscow’s east.

In one of industrial hangars they found a Kalashnikov submachine gun, extremist video and literature supposedly in the Arabic language. Moreover, a TT pistol and Kalashnikov submachine gun cartridge were found in a car of a leaseholder.

A criminal case was instituted.
