Alexander Nevsky submarine to be handed over to Navy on Nov 15

Before the time, in September, the submarine will test-fire a Bulava intercontinental ballistic missile

ST. PETERSBURG, July 6 (Itar-Tass) - The nuclear-powered missile strategic-purpose submarine cruiser Alexander Nevsky of Project 955 Borei will be handed over to the Russian Navy on November 15.

Before the time, in September, the submarine will test-fire a Bulava intercontinental ballistic missile, Director-General of the Severodvinsk-based Sevmash plant of the United Shipbuilding Corporation Mikhail Budnichenko said at the sixth International Maritime Defence Show.
