Four Russian tourists hurt in road accident in Cuba

All the passengers survived the accident but two persons needed urgent surgery

HAVANA, July 5 (Itar-Tass) - Four Russian nationals were hurt in a road accident involving a tourist bus near the Cuban city of Cienfuegos, a spokeswoman for the Russian embassy in Cuba told Itar-Tass on Friday.

“Four Russians received minor injuries. They received medical treatment and left the hospital,” Nadezhda Sergiyeva said.

Earlier, local media said there were six Russian in the bust that overturned overnight to Friday. According to reports, all the passengers survived the accident but two persons needed urgent surgery. Along with Russians, among the bus’ passengers were citizens of Great Britain, the Netherland, the Czech Republic, Ireland, and the Philippines.
