MOSCOW, July 5 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the opening ceremony of the 27th World Student Games in Tatarstan’s capital Kazan on July 6, the Kremlin press service said on Friday.
The ceremony will be held at Kazan’s biggest sports facility - the 45,000-seat football arena. After the ceremony, the president plans to meet with members of the Russian national team.
Apart from that, Putin is expected to inspect a new terminal at the Kazan international airport and a station of a new intermodal aeroexpress line that were built for the Universiade.
