MOSCOW, July 5 (Itar-Tass) - A commission for reforming the space industry is expected to present its restructuring plan by the end of the third quarter, Vice-Premier Dmitry Rogozin said at the first meeting of the commission.
The work is aimed at preparing the plan and submitting it to the president to restructure the sector, he said, adding that the commission functions would not be limited to it.
The full implementation of the plan must be ensured, he noted.
The situation in which the rocket and space industry is after the inacceptable long series of failures requires broader and detailed consideration, he stressed.
The first meeting of the commission will hear a report of the Audit Chamber on Roscosmos's activities, the vice-premier said.
