Public prosecutor demands 6 years in jail for Navalny

MOSCOW, July 5 (Itar-Tass) - The public prosecutor demands six and five years in standard regime penal colony and a penalty accordingly for opposition blogger Alexei Navalny and his suspected accomplice, ex-director of Vyatskaya Lesnaya Kompania (Vyatka forestry company), for property embezzlement in the Kirovles state owned timber company, public prosecutor Sergei Bogdanov said on Friday at the Leninsky District Court of Kirov.

According to him, the guilt of the accused has been fully established during the court investigation.

The prosecutor ordered to change the measure of pre-trial restraint and place both under arrest right in the court room.
