MOSCOW, July 3 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) is reinforcing an aviation formation, which is searching for a helicopter Mi-8 in Yakutia, EMERCOM spokeswoman Irina Rossius told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
In her words, an airplane Be-200 with a thermal imaging device was dispatched in the area, where the helicopter has made a hard landing. “No coordinates (of a possible location of the helicopter) were confirmed,” Rossius said.
The spokeswoman noted that the weather conditions do not allow dispatching the helicopters. “The ground group continues the search,” she underlined.
