International meeting of high representatives on security to open Wednesday

The meeting will be attended by about 300 delegates from over 60 countries, inclusive Janet Napolitano, US Secretary of Homeland Security

VLADIVOSTOK, July 3 (Itar-Tass) - A two-day International meeting of High Representatives in charge of security affairs opens here on Wednesday, with about 300 delegates from over 60 countries participating. A Russian delegation is headed by Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation (SCRF), the SCRF press service reports.

The meeting will be also attended by Janet Napolitano, US Secretary of Homeland Security. She will be accompanied by Daniel Glaser, Assistant to the US Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorist Financing.

The delegates to the Meeting will examine matters regarding international efforts against legalization of unlawfully gained incomes, basic orientatins for enhancement of international and regional transport security, and discuss network and information security.

The Meeting will take place on the campus of Far Eastern Federal University on the Russkiy (Russian) Island. The sailing of small craft will be limited for the duration of the Meeting in the Golden Horn and Ajax Bays, as well as in the Bosporus East Strait.
