Deputy Kurgan region governor charged with 11 malfeasances

MOSCOW, July 2 (Itar-Tass) - Deputy governor of the Kurgan region Marina Kalugina has been charged with the commission of 11 malfeasances in office, Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

"She is charged with committing five offenses under Part 3 of Article 33, Part 3 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code - "Organization of embezzlement by a person using his official position", four offenses under Part 3 of Article 159 - "Fraud in an official provisions", as well as crimes under Article 160 part 4 - "Embezzlement " and Art. 289 - "illegal participation in entrepreneurial activities" - said the representative of the Investigation Committee.
