MOSCOW, July 1 (Itar-Tass) - Lithuania watches the development of military cooperation between Russia and Belarus, Lithuanian Ambassador in Moscow Renatas Norkus said.
Commenting on the plans to deploy a Russian base in Belarus, Norkus said, “We watch the processes within Russian-Belarusian military cooperation. I’d like not to comment on these processes.”
“We’d like to hope that Russia and Belarus will comply with the principles of transparency and confidence-building measures under the OSCE Vienna document,” the Lithuanian diplomat said.
